The site has no accounts and no advertising. Analytics are switched off until you allow them: a notice at the foot of the page asks once, and if you decline or simply ignore it, Google Analytics is never loaded and no analytics data is sent. Even the typefaces are served from this site itself, so unless you allow analytics your browser does not contact Google at all. We hold only what you send us in a message, plus two small settings your own browser remembers and your answer to that notice, which you can change at any time from the link in the footer of any page.
The forms on the marketing and portfolio pages ask for a company name, a contact person, a phone number, an email address and a short description of what you need. The subscribe box asks for an email address.
We use what you send only to answer you, or to send you the writing you asked for. We do not sell it and we do not hand it to anyone else for their own purposes.
The subscribe box sends your address straight to us and stores it with EmailOctopus, the service that keeps our mailing list and sends the posts. They process it on our behalf and for nothing else. Every email carries an unsubscribe link, and you can also write to us and we will remove you.
The forms on the marketing and portfolio pages are sent from the site itself. When you press send, what you filled in goes to our own endpoint on saridje.com and is emailed from there to [email protected] through Resend, the service that carries that mail for us. Nothing is kept on the server; the email is the record. Resend processes it on our behalf and for nothing else. If the send fails for any reason the page offers to open your own email program with the message already written, and then nothing reaches us until you press send yourself.
So that nobody can hammer these forms, the address your request arrives from is held in memory for a minute while it is counted. It is not written down anywhere and it is not sent on.
Two settings are stored on your own device, never on a server, and are never sent to us:
· scene-mode — whether you chose day or night on the front page.
· scene-seen — whether the hint markers have already been shown to you once.
Clearing your site data removes both. They are not cookies and they hold no identifier.
The typefaces are served from this site itself, not from Google Fonts: your browser asks no one else for them.
If you allow analytics, the site loads Google Analytics and sends Google the page you are on, your approximate region, and what kind of device and browser you use. It also records that a form was sent successfully - which of the three forms it was, and the language of the page - but never your name, your company, your address, your telephone number or anything you wrote. Advertising personalisation is off. If you decline, or never answer, Google Analytics is not loaded and no analytics data is sent. Changing your mind after accepting switches Analytics off for this site in your browser, so no further data is sent, and deletes the Google Analytics cookies, leaving your other settings on this site alone. Anything already on its way when you decide cannot be called back.
Your answer to that notice is kept by your own browser, not by us. Clearing your site data forgets it and the notice asks again.
The site is hosted on Cloudflare Pages, which keeps short-term technical records of requests in order to run and protect the service.
The share links in each post are ordinary links. Nothing is sent to a platform until you click one, and from that point their own policy applies.
Messages are kept while we are in contact and for as long as our records require. A subscription address is kept until you ask to be removed.
Under Turkish data protection law (KVKK) you may ask what we hold about you, ask for it to be corrected or deleted, and object to how it is used. If you are in the European Union, the GDPR gives you comparable rights.
